What is the Urban pad for?
A compact primary bouldering pad for after-work circuits, to full-commit sessions in the mountains (without the bulk).
What foam is inside—is it actually protective?
Yes. UK-built, three-layer stack: 60 mm open-cell foam sandwiched between 2 × 25 mm closed-cell sheets (30% recycled content), all HIC-tested in-house.
- Top closed-cell (25 mm): spreads load and smooths sharp edges.
- Core open-cell (60 mm): absorbs impact and rebounds session after session.
- Base closed-cell (25 mm): resists bottoming-out.
